Julia Herbst is currently a senior editor at Fast Company, where she oversees the Work Life section. Previously she worked as a writer and editor at Los Angeles magazine and Breaker Magazine. She has a degree in biology from Oberlin College, and a degree in jazz bass performance from Oberlin Conservatory.
